Sinbad viewing
In what's hoped will become an annual event for BASE - we've started our 2015/16 season (Sleeping Beauty) with a group viewing of this year's show - Sinbad.
Every year we have the show videoed for posterity - and members can get a copy of the DVD for their archives and scrap books!
This is the first year we've used the excellent Brewhouse cinema to watch ourselves. Quite a revelation, especially if you're like many members who buy the DVD - but don't actually watch it!!
It got members in the mood for the real start next week - when we have our first read-through. This is where every member gets an opportunity to read one, or several parts. We do two read through sessions - and these include a first run through of some of the songs... and then we launch into principal cast and dancer auditions. See here for more information.
(By the way - the photo is very dark - you can just make out the screen - and a bunch of glowing necklaces... in typical BASE-fashion - glow sticks were available!)
